Abstract
يهدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح العلاقة بين تطبيق مهارة الإصغاء ّ المهني وبين التكيف الاجتماعي لدى أُمهات المعتقلين والأسرى الفلسطينيين في الضفة ا ة ّ لغربي في ّ ضوء الظروف المحيطة بأسر أبنائهن الذين يقضون في سجون الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. وتم اختيار المنهج الكمي، إذ اختيرت العينة بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية، وتكونت من 440 أُما من أُمهات ّ المعتقلين والأسرى في السجون الإسرائيلية. صممت الباحثة استبانة لتحقيق هدف البحث. وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام الرزم الإحصائية للعلوم ّ الاجتماعية (SPSS.( وقد أشارت نتائج اختبار معامل بيرسون (correlation Pearson ،(إلى وجود عالقة بين الظروف المحيطة بالاعتقال والأسر وبين حدة استجابات أُمهات المعتقلين و الأسرى ّ والتكيف ّ الاجتماعي ّ لديهن، فكلما استمرت وزادت الظروف المحيطة بالاعتقال و الأسر ّ سوءا، ازدت حدة استجاباتهن، النفسية، و الصحية، و الذهنية والاجتماعية، ّ وقل تكيفهن الاجتماعي، وزادت حاجتهن إلى الدعم ّ الرسمي والإصغاء المهني. كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود عالقة بين تطبيق مهارة الإصغاء ّ المهني وبين ف ّ التكيف الاجتماعي، ووجود علاقة ّ عكسية بين الدعم ّ الاجتماعي والتكيف الاجتماعي ربما بسبب ضعف المؤسسات في تقديم الدعم ّ المهني المناسب الكافي والمستمر.
The study aims to clarify the relation between the application of professional
listening skills and the social adaptation of the mothers of the Palestinian prisoners and
detainees and in West Bank in the light of the surrounding imprisonment conditions of
their sons in the Israeli prisons. The quantitative approach has been selected to support
the study. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire that
was distributed to a sample of 400 mothers that was chosen randomly. The data has
been analyzed by using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The
outcomes of Pearson Correlation test showed that there was a positive relation between
the surrounding conditions of detention and imprisonment and the degree of the
prisoners’ mothers’ response and their social adaptation. When the surrounding
conditions of detention or imprisonment become worse, the mothers’ psychological and
healthy responses seem stronger. On the other hand, their social adaptation decreases
and their need for the social support and the effective and professional listening
increases.The results showed that there was no relation between the application of
professional listening skill and the social adaptation. Whereas, there was a reversible
relation between the social support and the social adaptation. This can be related to the
weakness in the official and non-official establishments in providing enough, suitable
and continuous professional support. However, the relation between the effective
listening and the mothers’ expressions to their need for the official support and the
effective listening is clearly existed. That means when effective listening is applied
more, mothers express their needs more and more. All this lead to a strong need for
more effective listening within social, inclusive, continuous and efficient intervention
in order to create the desired adaptation. In addition, the results showed that there was
no relation between the social adaptation and the educational level for the mother or
her family members’ number. It also showed that elder mothers have less adaptation
than younger mothers, and they need more official support and effective, professional
listening. As for widows, they seem to have less social adaptation but show more need
for support than married or divorced mothers. Mothers who live in low economical
levels have less adaptation and need more support than those who live in higher
economical levels. However, mothers living in camps seek more official support and
effective, professional listening.The study concluded some theoretical and practical
recommendations including implementing researches and studies about the relation
between applying the effective listening skill and the inclusive intervention with the
social adaptation for the prisoners’ mothers in order to include all of the Palestinian
society. It also recommended using the results of to create a professional point of view
about the social adaptation of mothers and to allow official and non-official
establishments to develop the services for the mothers of prisoners and detainees
