Abstract
This study aimed to diagnose the degree of strategic planning among the principals and its
relationship to the morale of public school teachers in the Hebron governorate from the
teachers ’point of view. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach. A
proportional random stratified sample of 370 male and female teachers was taken. In order to
achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for all the
data from the study sample, and the data that was analyzed. The study found the following
results, the most important are: The existence of a positive statistically significant correlation
between the strategic planning of the principals and the morale of the public school teachers in
the governorate of Khalil from the teachers' point of view, and the study also found that there
are no statistically significant differences in public schools in the Hebron governorate towards
strategic planning for government school principals and their relationship to morale due to the
variable of gender and qualification While it showed that there are statistically significant
differences in public schools in the Hebron governorate towards their morale due to the
variable of specialization, years of teaching experience, as well as the existence of related
differences in public schools in the Hebron governorate towards strategic planning among
government school principals and its relationship to morale attributable to the years of
teaching experience variable, and in light of these results the researcher concluded with
Researcher recommended to take directors pay more attention to areas of strategic planning,
analyze the internal and external environment, define the strategic goals of the school, and
work to establish a strategic planning unit in each teacher. The Ministry of Education and
Higher Education provides training courses for principals and teachers to enhance their
capabilities and develop them in the areas of strategic planning, and the ability to apply these
concepts in a way that helps Achieving the goals.
