Abstract
This study aimed to reveal the impact of creative thinking on crisis management faced by non-governmental organizations, according to the components of creative thinking and crisis management. This research was applied to Al Salah Islamic Association.
This study relied on the descriptive analytical approach to reveal the impact of creative thinking on crisis management in the southern governorates.
A questionnaire was designed and used in collecting primary data from the study sample and it was distributed to the board of directors of Al Salah Islamic Society and the employees of the association, the study sample consists of (134) employees, and (121) questionnaires were retrieved with a percentage of 90.29%. The data was analyzed using SPSS software package.
The study found a set of results, the most important of which was the existence of a close correlation between the components of creative thinking, at a weight rate of 76.626%, and the highest percentage was for the item of perceiving details, at a rate of 77.984%, and the lowest percentage for sensitivity to problems, and the percentage was 74,742, and the relationship was also strong in managing crises and its various dimensions at a rate of 75.037%, and the highest results were in the recovery of activity by 78.38%, and the lowest results in early warning signs by 71.165%
The study also found that there were no differences in the respondents’ response to the study’s variables: creative thinking and crisis management due to demographic variables (gender, age, place of residence, occupation, educational qualification and years of experience) .

The study recommends that NGOs should constantly present new suggestions and ideas to develop the capabilities of workers in various fields. And creative solutions to problems, in line with the developments of the surrounding environment. And training the association for its employees on the skills of anticipating work problems and taking the necessary measures to avoid their occurrence .
It indicated the need for the association to direct the crisis management team to conduct a comprehensive and regular survey of the external work environment to identify indicators of the possibility of a crisis. The association organizes various workshops and meetings with stakeholders to train crisis management workers to collect and analyze indicators of crises. It also recommended that the association should communicate with stakeholders and groups affected by the crisis, explaining the procedures required to avoid the crisis. It also clarified the need for the association to allocate the necessary funds for the activities of restoring the work in the association.
