dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to identify the extent of government school principals managing excellence in the Hebron Governorate from the teachers ’point of view (reality and expectations), and the researcher used the descriptive approach, as she prepared a questionnaire consisting of (48) paragraphs as a tool to collect data, and the study community is made up of all male and female teachers In government schools in the four directorates of education in the Hebron Governorate (North Hebron, Hebron, South Hebron, Yatta), whose number is (7081) female teachers, in the academic year (2019/2020), and the study was applied to a sample of (377) male and female teachers They were chosen in the stratified random method, which represented (5.3%) of the study population, and the results of the study showed that the reality of the practice of principals of public schools to manage excellence in the Hebron Governorate from the point of view of teachers came with an average degree, where the arithmetic average of the total score of the reality of the practice of excellence management ( 3.40). While it was hoped that the principals of public schools will practice the management of excellence significantly, with an average of (3.94) The study also found that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the reality of the practice of principals of public schools to manage excellence in the Hebron Governorate from the teachers' point of view according to the variable of the directorate, in favor of the North Hebron District. And the presence of statistically significant differences according to the scientific qualification variable, in favor of those whose scientific qualification is BA. And according to the years of experience variable in favor of those with years of experience (5-10 years) and (more than 10 years). According to the variable of courses, for the benefit of those who received (3-5 courses), and (more than 5 courses). And there are no differences according to the gender variable. ح The study also found that there were statistically significant differences between the means of the hoped-for practice by government school principals to manage excellence in the Hebron Governorate from the teachers' point of view according to the directorate variable, in favor of the North Hebron District. And the existence of differences depending on the variable of the sessions, in favor of those who received (more than 5 sessions). The study found that there were no statistically significant differences between the means of the hoped-for practice of government school principals to manage excellence in the Hebron Governorate from the teachers' point of view according to the variables: gender, educational qualification, and years of experience. In light of the results of the current study, the researcher came up with a set of recommendations and proposals.
