dc.description.abstract | This study aims to make English language teachers in the south Hebron District to be aware of the basic stage of virtual teaching skills , and its relationship to their technological enlightenment. This study was conducted on a simple random sample of (150) male and female of primary school English language teachers in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron in the first semester of 2020/2021 academic year. The researcher used the relational descriptive approach , where the two tools of the study were used after verifying their validity by presenting them to a group of arbitrators. And the calculation of the coefficient of their stability , which amounted to (0.89) for the virtual learning tool, and (0.93) for the tool of technological enlightenment. The study found that the overall degree of virtual education skills and technological enlightenment was significant. However, the existence of differences in the skills of virtual education attributable to the variable of gender, the benefit of males, for the variable of academic qualification, in favor of a Master and higher, for the variable of specialization, and for the specialization of English Methods. As there are no differences in the degree of technological enlightenment due to variables ( gender, academic qualification, specialization ), and the existence of a positive correlation between the degree of awareness of virtual education skills and the degree of technological enlightenment among English language teachers for the primary stage in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron. Based on the previous finding, the researcher recommends developing and stimulating technological enlightenment among teachers through special scientific workshops, providing schools with modern technologies to keep pace with technological enlightenment and rapid technological development in the whole world | en |
