| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to know the status of the strategic planning enforcement and its relationship to the performance of the lending institutions operating in Palestine from the point of view of the senior management. The researcher used the descriptive approach, the study population consist of the senior management of the lending institutions in Palestine (boards of directors, heads of board of directors, general managers, and directors of departments), who numbered 119 persons The researcher used a questionnaire to collect data from the study sample, which included (92) people, equivalent to 77% of the study population. The study revealed a set of results, the most important of which are: The degree of implementation of strategic planning in lending institutions operating in Palestine from the respondents’ point of view was high. By examining the hypotheses, it was found that there is a relationship at the level of statistical significance between strategic planning and the performance of lending institutions operating in Palestine, and it was found that the lending institutions operating in Palestine apply strategic planning from it is different dimensions (vision, mission, goals, strategic analysis, strategic choice) according to global standards and on scientific, civilized and human foundations, In light of the results reached, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, these are: The necessity of coordination and networking between the lending institutions operating in Palestine to exchange experiences, experiments and lessons learned between them. Encouraging the participation of target groups and the local community in the strategic planning process because of their importance in enriching the strategic planning process. | en |
