    A notable decline in sperm quality among Palestinian men, characterized by reduced count, motility, and morphology, has raised concerns about its impact on reproductive health and future generations. The widespread use of smartphones and their blue light emission, especially at night, is suspected to disrupt the circadian rhythm and hormonal balance, crucial for sperm production.

    Streptococcus pyogenes (GAS), a gram-positive coccus, poses a significant public health burden due to its diverse spectrum of infections, ranging from mild pharyngitis ("strep throat") to severe invasive diseases like necrotizing fasciitis and toxic shock syndrome. Asymptomatic pharyngeal carriage, particularly prevalent among children, plays a crucial role in GAS transmission and outbreaks.

    Food Hygiene Practices in Food Restaurants

    Food safety is a system that encompasses the handling, preparation, and storage of food in ways that prevent the transmission of contaminants. This is achieved through a series of routine procedures aimed at averting health risks and to avoid food spoilage. Food spoilage can lead to food poisoning, which is a common condition resulting from the consumption of contaminated food. Shawarma (cooked meat) also called shawarma, shawerma, and Kebab is one of the common fast-food meals consumed by most people. However, this meal may cause a health risk to the consumer due to its potential to contain harmful microorganisms, this is often a result of inadequate cooking processes and general hygiene practices.

    Detection of Acute Stroke Using the Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS)

    In 2022, cerebral strokes ranked fourth as the leading cause of death in the Palestinian Ministry of Health, accounting for 11% of all deaths. The Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) is a quick, semi-quantitative way to assess ischemic lesions and predict prognosis in patients with ischemic stroke. It is a straightforward, reliable method for evaluating early ischemic changes in the blood supply region of the middle and posterior cerebral arteries. The primary basis for this strategy is the visual observation of doctors. However, the low inter-reader agreement could lead to mistakes in the final diagnosis because of the doctor's varying degrees of experience. To aid medical professionals in their diagnosis and assessment, this work proposes the use of non-contrast computed tomography (NCCT) as the basis for the ASPECTS technique of acute ischemic stroke.
