Abstract
The Study aimed at identifying the degree of Mindfulness among Secondary Science teachers of the Secondary stage in the directorates of Education in Hebron Governorate and its relationship to Achievement Motivation and Teaching Efficiency, the descriptive analytical approach was used as a tool of the study. The study Population consisted of (508) Science Teachers of the Secondary stage in the Directorates of Education in Hebron Governorate, the researcher chose a stratified sample of (229) teacher , (47%) according to the variables of the teachers gender, directorates. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher constructed Three questionnaires for mindfulness, achievement motivation and teaching efficiency. The result showed that the degree of Mindfulness among the staff of the Science teachers of the Secondary stage in the directorates of Education in Hebron Governorate was high, further more the results Indicated no Significal differences due to gender, specialization and experience, but there were differences related to qualification, directorate and teacher annual appreciation. The results showed that the degree of achievement motivation among the staff of the Science teachers of the Secondary stage in the directorates of Education in Hebron was high on all dimensions of achievement motivation, the results also showed that there were no differences according to gender, specialization and experience, while there were differences according to the qualification, directorate and teacher annual appreciation. and the degree of teaching efficiency among the staff of the Science teachers of the Secondary stage in the directorates of Education in Hebron was high on all dimensions of teaching efficiency, the results also showed that there were no differences according to gender, qualification, and specialization, while there were differences according to experience in, and the Directorate, and the annual appreciation. The results showed that there is moderately positive relationship between mindfulness and motivation achievement, also between mindfulness and teaching efficiency among the staff of the Science teachers of the Secondary stage in the directorates of Education in Hebron. Based on the results the researcher recommends providing pre-service teacher preparation programs with activities to develop their mindfulness ,and holding training courses for teachers in service to provide them to all about mindfulness as well as the need to involve teachers in any process to develop curricula or textbooks, an effective participation in which the teacher feels the value, entity and importance of the educational process, and increased interest and focus by educational supervisors by holding training courses for new teachers in values related to teachers' possession of teaching competencies, it has appositive Impact in increasing the level of motivation for achievement and teaching efficiency
