Abstract
Social entrepreneurship starts from social challenges to find appropriate solutions to social issues and problems, through the point where charitable volunteering relates to profitability, social entrepreneurship works according to business and profit methods and not through the provision of free and rental services, but its essence is always social value, profit through this concept comes in order to achieve the financial sustainability of the project and achieve the leading development of the community in its economic and social aspects and the study aims to highlight the dimensions of social entrepreneurship in the institutions of the South West Bank Social vision, social networks, sustainability of practices, income generation, innovation, and their ability to make an impact on development in its economic and social dimensions, through the study of many leading institutions in Hebron and Bethlehem governorates. The study was used by the descriptive method of scientific research, and the study community was a volunteer worker in social entrepreneurship institutions in Hebron and Bethlehem governorates, and the study was conducted according to the random sample method of the study community of (402) workers and volunteers in social entrepreneurship institutions in the south of the West Bank, and the size of Sample (196) persons, the study tool was distributed on this sample electronically, the recovery rate of the study tool was high (97.4%), and all data were analysed using the Statistical Package Program (SPSS V23). The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that after social networks is the strongest dimension in the social entrepreneurship institutions in the south of the West Bank and therefore it is necessary to take advantage of this dimension and its strength in activating and developing other dimensions, and to emphasize that these institutions take into account the social issue in their economic dimensions, political, social and environmental and build their activities and projects accordingly. The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is the need to lay the foundations for joint action between social entrepreneurship institutions in neighbouring geographical areas, through the development of joint plans and the adoption of joint projects that contribute to addressing pressing societal issues, which means unifying capacities, energies and potential towards a common goal for these institutions, as well as directing the private sector to increase its share of community-based contributions from its responsibility to society and directing these contributions towards viable pilot projects and not just assistance without return.
