Abstract
This study was conducted during the period extended from June till November, 2020. The study aimed at evaluating the projects implemented to the livestock sector in Bedouin communities that are located in the eastern parts of Hebron governorate from the point of view of small ruminant’s farmers and the projects development prospects during the period (2012-2019), through using of five international evaluation / assessment criteria, including (Relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and the impact).
In order to achieve the study objectives, the researcher tended to conduct a final evaluation of the various development projects that were presented to the livestock sector in addition to the emergency projects and services that supported those development projects in the Bedouin communities east of Hebron Governorate during the period of the year 2012 to year 2019.
The beneficiaries of the various developmental projects represented the main study community, since they are the direct beneficiaries of the projects in addition to the fact that they are the ones who have completed projects and services, and their distribution was in 4 Bedouin communities, these are (Bedouin of Al Zuwaidin gathering; Bedouin of Umm Al Khair gathering, Bedouin of Al Najada gathering and Bedouin of Al Hathalin gathering). These are the Bedouin communities located to the east of the Hebron Governorate.
The study followed the descriptive method of by using the analysis methods, as well as the comprehensive survey method for the members of the study
