Abstract
The study aimed to identify the level of the vocational needs for the Technology curriculum in the Education Directorate Schools in the Suburbs of Jerusalem. The role of independent variables (gender, academic qualification, supervisory authority, specialization, job title and years of experience) in the level of the vocational needs for the Technology curriculum in the Education Directorate Schools in the Suburbs of Jerusalem. The researcher used the descriptive method. The study population consisted of all principals and Technology teachers in the Suburbs of Jerusalem for the academic year (2020/2021). The study population is (168) principals and Technology teachers. A random sample was selected which included (136) principals and Technology teachers. The researcher developed a questionnaire consisted of (33) paragraphs distributed over four fields: (specialist needs, educational needs, training needs, technical needs). Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified using appropriate statistical methods. The study results revealed that the level of the vocational needs for the Technology curriculum in the Education Directorate Schools in the Suburbs of Jerusalem was high, and with an arithmetic mean of (2.41). According to the study results, the researcher has several recommendation, to consider the vocational needs for the Technology curriculum to achieve the objectives of the curriculum in which the results benefit the students and Technology teachers.
