Abstract
This study aimed to identify the impact of human resources development strategies on the quality of career life through a field study on Palestinian insurance companies in the southern governorates. The researcher used the comprehensive inventory method for the study population, questionnaires were distributed to the study population, the number of recovered questionnaires reached (55), and after examining the retrieved questionnaires, none of them were excluded due to the fulfillment of the required conditions, and therefore (55) questionnaires were analyzed. That is, a response rate of (72.4%). The researcher used the descriptive analytical method for its suitability for this study. The study concluded that the level of the respondents' answers to the human resource development strategies items came to a large degree and with a relative weight of (80.1%). Also, the level of respondents' answers on the quality of functional life items came to a large degree and with a relative weight (81.1%). The results showed the existence of a direct correlation with a statistical significance between human resource development strategies and its dimensions and the quality and dimensions of job life in Palestinian insurance companies in the southern governorates. The study recommended the need to pay more attention to human resource development strategies, due to its importance and impact on the quality of career life, because of the benefits and competitive advantage for companies, improving the healthy work environment to suit employees in companies in order to enhance the quality of their career life, the need to achieve the strategic objectives of resource management. Human resources by appointing highly qualified people based on job analysis when conducting the recruitment process, developing workers, and working to hold training courses on an ongoing basis in order to develop workers and raise their level, the need to attract human resources that possess sufficient skills and experience in various management functions.
