Patient Safety and Quality of Health

Overview

This research group is based in the School of Public Health and works on issues related to health care quality and patient safety. The group works closely with the Ministry of Health and non-governmental health institutions. The aim is to support patient safety initatives and inform health policy and practice. Research area includes patient safety culture, impact of safety improvement interventions, risk management, hospital infections, monitoring and clinical indicators, factors associated with patient safety.
