| dc.description.abstract | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقصّي دور الدبلوماسية الشعبيّة الرقميّة في تعزيز الوعي السياسي لدى الشباب الفلسطيني، إذ تبنّت المنهج المختلط وجمعت بياناتها بأداتين: استبانة مقنّنة وزّعت على عيّنة طبقية عشوائية قوامها 400 شاب وشابة ناشطين رقميا في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة، ومقابلات شبه مهيكلة مع 13 من المؤثرين بغية إسناد النتائج الكمية بتفسيرات نوعية. أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى ممارسة الدبلوماسية الشعبيّة الرقميّة يميل إلى الارتفاع بمتوسط عام 3.62؛ حيث تصدّر البعد السردي/الرمزي (3.66) ثم التعبوي/الحشدي (3.65) وأخيرا الاتصالي/التفاعلي (3.54)، ما يدل على تفضيل الرموز والحملات المنظمة على الحوار الحر المباشر. كما بيّنت أن الوعي السياسي الكلّي جاء متوسطا (3.08) مع تفوّق البعد السلوكي/التشاركي (3.91) ثم النقدي/التحليلي (3.34) وأخيرا المعرفي/المعلوماتي (3.16). وعند اختبار الفرضيات ثبت إسهام الدبلوماسية الشعبيّة الرقمية إسهاما معنويا في رفع الأبعاد الثلاثة للوعي السياسي، إلى جانب وجود فروق دالّة في مستوى الممارسة والوعي تبعا للجنس (تفوق الذكور) ونوع المنصة (فيسبوك وتويتر "اكس " أعلى)، وكذلك لدرجة الاستخدام اليومي، مقابل غياب فروق تعزى للمؤهل العلمي. وانطلقت التوصيات العملية من هذه المؤشرات فدعت إلى تأسيس منتديات نقاش آمن ومساقات جامعية للحوار الرقمي، وبناء مكتبة بصرية مفتوحة وأدلة سياسات مبسّطة لتعزيز البعد المعرفي، وتطوير حزم رموز موحّدة تربط الوسوم بإجراءات مدنية آنية، إلى جانب ورش أمان رقمي للفتيات وجائزة سنوية لصانعات السرد السياسي، فضلا عن مواءمة المحتوى مع خصوصية كل منصة وإنشاء وحدة ارتباط رقمي بوزارة الخارجية لتنسيق الخطاب الشعبي والرسمي. الكلمات المفتاحية: الدبلوماسية الرقمية، الشباب الفلسطيني، الوعي السياسي، وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. | ar |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to investigate the role of digital public diplomacy in enhancing political awareness among Palestinian youth. Adopting a mixed method approach, the research collected data through two instruments: a standardized questionnaire administered to a stratified random sample of 400 digitally active young men and women in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and semi-structured interviews with 13 influencers to enrich the quantitative results with qualitative insights. Findings revealed an overall mean of 3.62 for practicing digital public diplomacy, indicating a moderately high level. The narrative/symbolic dimension ranked first (3.66), followed by the mobilization/advocacy dimension (3.65), while the interactive/communicative dimension came last (3.54), suggesting a preference for symbols and organized campaigns over open dialogue. Overall political awareness scored an intermediate mean of 3.08, with the behavioral/participatory dimension leading (3.91), then the critical/analytical dimension (3.34), and finally the cognitive/informational dimension (3.16). Hypothesis testing confirmed a statistically significant contribution of digital public diplomacy to all three dimensions of political awareness. Significant differences also emerged in practice and awareness levels by gender (male advantage), platform type (higher for Facebook and Twitter), and daily usage intensity, whereas educational attainment showed no meaningful effect. Drawing on these indicators, the practical recommendations called for establishing safe discussion forums and university courses in online dialogue; creating an open visual library and simplified policy briefs to strengthen the cognitive dimension; developing unified symbol packages that link hashtags to immediate civic actions; organizing digital-safety workshops for girls and an annual award for female political storytellers; tailoring content to each platform’s specifics; and setting up a digital liaison unit within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate popular and official messaging.
