dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to identify the role of planning strategic scenarios in achieving institutional sustainability from the view of point of administrators in the organizations in the sectors of the PNGO network in the Gaza Strip. The study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach. The study, which amounted to (69) institutions according to the administrative level (Executive Director, Program Director, Project Manager) using the method of survey _ comprehensive_ comprehensive and recovered (62) individual (90%), and interviews were conducted by the researcher represented in (7) interviews By (1) an interview with the executive director of the PNGO Network in addition to (6) interviews with the coordinators of sectors (health, rehabilitation, youth, education, women, agriculture). The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which were: - There is a statistically significant relationship between planning strategic scenarios and its role in achieving institutional sustainability in the sectors of the PNGO Network in the Gaza Strip, with a correlation coefficient of 72.4%. - With regard to the impact hypothesis, it was found that 51% of the change in the effectiveness of decision-making in achieving institutional sustainability in the sectors of the PNGO network in the Gaza Strip is due to planning strategic scenarios, and the remaining percentage is due to other factors that affect the achievement of institutional sustainability, and the most prominent effect of the variable was “Developing the contingency plan” in achieving institutional sustainability, while it was found that the rest of the variables had no effect. - There are no statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) between the averages of the study sample's scores on planning strategic scenarios and institutional sustainability due to the variable (gender, age, years of experience), and in contrast, there are statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) Between the averages of the study sample's grades about planning strategic scenarios and institutional sustainability attributable to the variable (academic qualification) in favor of graduate studies, and (job title) in favor of those whose job title is project manager. The study recommended based on previous results: - The sectors of the PNGO network in the Gaza Strip must pay attention to the concept of planning strategic scenarios as an effective tool for effective strategic planning and develop this concept to reach all its managers and employees. - Provide and diversify long-term sources of funding in the sectors of the "PNGO" network in Gaza Strip to achieve the sectors' sustainability.
