Abstract
The study aims to show the reality of soft skills (communication, communication, creativity, leadership, problem solving, and working in teams) and their relationship to employment tests in the Palestinian National Authority in Palestine, and to provide the Palestinian Central Authority in particular, which was targeted as a case study, and the institutions of the Palestinian National Authority in a way General, with recommendations and suggestions necessary for decision makers in order to shed light on the shortcomings, due to the importance of soft skills in methods, means, and recruitment tests. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher adopted the descriptive, relational approach, and for that purpose the questionnaire was designed as a tool to collect data, display and analyze it for the purpose of answering the study questions, and it was distributed to the study community consisting of employees of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, and the researcher used a comprehensive survey method for the study community, where it was distributed The researcher questioned all 250 employees of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, 218 questionnaires valid for analysis were retrieved, 87% of the study population in question. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: A positive relationship between the reality of soft skills and employment tests in the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, and the results showed that employees have a high level of soft skills with a rate of 80.5%, and that employment tests have had a significant impact in obtaining jobs in The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics reached 81.0%, and the skill of communication and communication got the highest of 81.3%, it is considered one of the most important skills from the employees point of view and was the most influencing their work, followed by the skill of working within the team, and then the skill of leadership, followed by skill Problem solving, then creativity skill. As for the most important recommendations, it was necessary to reinforce the concept and importance of soft skills, and to follow all methods of modern employment methods on all institutions of the Palestinian National Authority
