Abstract
The study aims to identify the role the role of electronic management in improving the performance of Bethlehem public school principals. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The study population has come from all Principals in the public in Bethlehem district for the school year 2018/2019. The study population has included (133) Principals. It consisted of (94) Principals. This number constitution 70.6% of the sample population They have selected by random stratified method.. She has designed a questionnaire based on literature and related studies, consisted of (28) paragraphs.The researcher has used (SPSS) program to analyze the questionnaires> The study has reached to the following results: The level of electronic management among the public schools' principals in Bethlehem was very high with a total score (3. 91) and a standard deviation (0. 415). The domain of competencies and human resources has reached the highest rate (4. 04) followed by the domain of software and information systems followed by the domain of equipment or infrastructure and then the field of administrative practices for school principals. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance) α≤0. 05(in the level of electronic management among the public schools’ principals in Bethlehem due to the variable (gender, age, academic qualification, school level, school gender, years of management experience and school location). The most important recommendations To Continue to promote and enable the concepts of electronic management as a working method that will improve the performance of school principals and raise the quality of work by working on the following matters: Implement regulations to use technology (software and equipment) as a formal means of implementing administrative and educational tasks in public schools. To Continue to promote the work on improving equipment or infrastructure needed to implement and strengthen electronic management in schools by providing (laboratories, networks, devices, computers, technical programs specialized in administrative and educational work …). To Continue to work on the adoption of administrative procedures to oblige school principals to use e-mail, communicate and to use electronic communication and to dispense paperwork within a specific time plan. To Increase the training and qualification of school principals, administrative and technical staff and teachers on the use and application of electronic management in the implementation of work. To Work on the activation of the school website and not just using the pages on social network sites.
