| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to identify the role of financial support in the sustainability of civil society institutions in the city of Jerusalem. The study community will be from the officials of civil society institutions in the city of Jerusalem, which number (56) institutions licensed by the Palestinian National Authority located within the apartheid wall As this sample was chosen for the importance of directing attention to support these institutions and the ease of obtaining information from its sources, a questionnaire was designed as a data collection tool that contains two main axes, namely the financial support axis and the sustainability axis containing 38 paragraphs distributed electronically to 50 institutions from the intentional research sample. Where 49 questionnaires were retrieved and subjected to statistical procedures, the criteria of validity and reliability were tested, statistical data processing and results obtained. There is an important role for financial support in achieving sustainability for civil society institutions in the city of Jerusalem. Establishing programs and policies that are appropriate to the problems of the Jerusalem community is the responsibility of the institutions alone, and those responsible should not be allowed to impose their programs. The absence of a unified national and institutional reference in Jerusalem. The financial support axis was affected by the variable of the educational qualification and the variable of the type of services provided, evidence of the importance of experience more than the scientific qualification and the tendency of donors to support social services, health and childhood. The impact of the sustainability axis on the variable of the source of funding is an indication of the importance of money for the sustainability and sustainability of institutions, and it is proving that the relationship is direct between financial support and sustainability, that is, the more support, the greater the sustainability in civil society institutions in the city of Jerusalem. The study concluded that is imperative those with experience in institutions continuously strive to obtain financial support and use it in an operational rather than relief manner to ensure sustainability and the need for the Palestinian Authority to improve, increase, and facilitate the flow of financial aid to civil society institutions in Jerusalem, and a unified reference should be adopted for Jerusalem institutions that regulate the distribution of financial support to Institutions so that it is not limited to specific institutions, the importance of improving their performance and its regulatory and financial system for institutions in Jerusalem in a manner commensurate with the needs of society in order to achieve sustainability, and that the national authority and the Arab and Islamic countries and The international community must assume its responsibilities towards the city of Jerusalem and pay attention to the employment of those with practical experience in institutional work. | en |
