Abstract
Supply chain resilience is a critical factor in enhancing competitiveness and sustaining company performance, particularly in sensitive sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry, where firms face continuous challenges due to environmental changes and disruptions. This study aims to examine the impact of supply chain resilience on the financial and operational performance of pharmaceutical companies in Palestine, focusing on strategic and operational dimensions, including agility, robustness, and financial strategies, as well as the firms’ ability to adapt to changing conditions. The research is grounded in a comprehensive theoretical framework addressing the concepts and dimensions of resilience, highlighting its role in improving operational efficiency and customer service quality, and linking these dimensions to company performance through cost efficiency and customer satisfaction. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, collecting data through a structured questionnaire distributed to employees in Palestinian pharmaceutical companies, to describe the current state of resilience and analyze its effect on financial and operational performance. The findings reveal a positive and statistically significant relationship between resilience dimensions—agility, robustness, and financial strategies—and company performance. Agility and resilience enhance adaptability to change, while financial strategies and robustness contribute to cost efficiency and superior customer service. The study emphasizes the importance of implementing flexible operational and financial policies as a key means to strengthen competitiveness and achieve sustainable advantage for companies in the Palestinian pharmaceutical sector.
