dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at identifying the impact of the application of the European standards of excellence by the management of the Palestinian insurance companies on the institutional performance of these companies in light of the study of the independent variables that include the leadership standard, the strategic policy criterion, the human resources standard, The researcher used the descriptive method, which is the appropriate method for this study, so that the study community from all the senior management staff In the Palestinian insurance companies in Palestine, provided that the study tool was a questionnaire consisting of (58) paragraphs, and the questionnaire was distributed to the study community and retrieved from 95 questionnaires, and according to the stability coefficient, where the researcher used the equation (Cronbach Alpha) The coefficient of (internal consistency) of the scale as a whole was 0.98. Based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire using the SPSS program, it was found that the fourth field (the application of the related parties criterion) had the lowest coefficient of difference and the average of the calculation was equal to (4.04), while the third field (applying the HR standard) Where the mean was 4.11. The measure of the impact of the application of the management of the Palestinian insurance companies to the European standards of excellence was very high, with an average of 4.23. And that the eighth field (productivity) had the lowest coefficient of difference and the average arithmetic mean (4.27), while the seventh area (efficiency) the highest coefficient of difference where the mean arithmetic (4.08). The measure of institutional performance in Palestinian insurance companies was very high, with an average of 4.21. There is also a significant impact on the institutional performance of these companies by the management of the Palestinian insurance companies. There is also a very strong correlation between the results of the Pearson correlation coefficient and the beta value showing that the relationship is positive. For those companies. Based on the results of the study and the conclusions, the study concluded the following recommendations: The need for Palestinian insurance companies to adopt the standards of European excellence, based on the criteria studied in this thesis (possibilities: leadership, strategies, human resources management, operations management, relations and resources) It is very important to achieve a high degree of improvement in the corporate performance in the companies, and focus on the axis of the relevant bodies to upgrade them so that their impact on the performance of institutions is high as in other standards.en
