Abstract
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على حب الاستطلاع وعلاقته بالفهم الاستماعي لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في مديرية تربية وتعليم جنوب الخليل، اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وقامت الباحثة بتطبيق مقياس (Kashdan et al., 2020)بحب الاستطلاع، واختبار لقياس مستوى الفهم الاستماعي لدى الطلبة (من إعداد الباحثة)، وقامت الباحثة بالتحقق من صدق وثبات أدوات الدراسة، ثم تطبيقها على عينة الدراسة التي تكونت من (300) طالب وطالبة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية.
وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى حب الاستطلاع لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في مدارس مديرية تربية وتعليم جنوب الخليل، كان بـِـدرجــة مُــرتــفــعـــة، كذلك بينت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لمستوى حب الاستطلاع لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في مدارس مديرية تربية وتعليم جنوب الخليل تعزى لمتغير الجنس، وقد كانت الفروق لصالح الذكور، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير جنس المدرسة، وقد كانت الفروق لصالح مدارس الإناث، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير التقدير السنوي لصالح الطلبة ذوي التقدير ممتاز، وبينت النتائج أيضاً أن مستوى الفهم الاستماعي لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في مدارس مديرية تربية وتعليم جنوب الخليل، كان بـِـدرجــة منخفضة، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لمستوى الفهم الاستماعي لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في مدارس مديرية تربية وتعليم جنوب الخليل تعزى لمتغير الجنس، وقد كانت الفروق لصالح الذكور، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير جنس المدرسة لصالح مدارس الذكور، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير التقدير السنوي لصالح الطلبة ذوي التقدير ممتاز، وتوصلت الدراسة أيضاً إلى وجود علاقة طرية إيجابية بين درجات حب الاستطلاع ودرجات الفهم الاستماعي لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في مدارس مديرية تربية وتعليم جنوب الخليل.
وبناء على هذه النتائج، خرجت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات، أهمها: التأكيد على المحافظة على مستوى عالٍ ومتقدم من حب الاستطلاع لدى الطلبة، وذلك من خلال إيجاد بيئة مدرسية محفزة للطلبة لتجريب واستكشاف أشياء جديدة، والعمل على زيادة الأنشطة القائمة على المهارات السمعية في المناهج الدراسية لطلبة الصف الخامس بما يزيد من قدراتهم على الفهم الاستماعي، نظراً لما أظهرته النتائج من درجة منخفضة من قدرتهم على الفهم الاستماعي.

The study aimed to identify curiosity and its relationship to listening comprehension among fifth-grade students in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron. The study adopted a descriptive correlational approach, and the researcher applied the Curiosity Scale (Kashdan et al., 2020) to measure curiosity, as well as a test to assess the listening comprehension level among the students (designed by the researcher). The study sample consisted of 300 male and female students, selected using a stratified random sampling method. The results of the study showed that the level of curiosity among fifth-grade students in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron was high. The results also revealed statistically significant differences in the mean scores of curiosity levels among fifth-grade students in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron, attributed to the variable of gender, with the differences favoring males. There were also differences attributed to the variable of school gender, with the differences favoring female schools, and differences attributed to the variable of annual grading, with the differences favoring students with an excellent grade. The results further showed that the level of listening comprehension among fifth-grade students in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron was low. The study also found statistically significant differences in the mean scores of listening comprehension among fifth-grade students in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron, attributed to the variable of gender, with the differences favoring males, and differences attributed to the variable of school gender, with the differences favoring male schools. Differences were also found in relation to the variable of annual grading, with the differences favoring students with an excellent grade. Additionally, the study concluded that there was a positive significant relationship between curiosity scores and listening comprehension scores among fifth-grade students in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron. Based on these results, the study provided several recommendations, the most important of which were: emphasizing the maintenance of a high and advanced level of curiosity among students by creating a stimulating school environment for students to try and explore new things, and increasing auditory skills-based activities in the curricula for fifth-grade students to enhance their listening comprehension abilities, given the low level of their listening comprehension abilities as indicated by the results.
