dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to identify the reality of educational public policies and their impact on digital transformation in private universities in the southern governorates and to achieve the study objectives the Descriptive Analytical Method was adopted. The study population consisted of all academic staff in the three universities (Palestine, Al-Isra, and Gaza). The questionnaire was distributed to (235) employees who were selected by the stratified random sampling method, and (220) questionnaires were retrieved with a recovery rate of (93.6%), and the (SPSS) program was used to enter and process data and test hypotheses. Among the most important findings of the study: - The reality of educational public policies and the level of digital transformation was in agreement with a large degree, with the relative weight reaching (76.59%) and (76.90%), respectively. There is a strong positive and statistically significant relationship between educational public policies and digital transformation, and there is a statistically significant impact of the dimensions of educational public policies related to (educational process, scientific research, community service) on digital transformation, and it has explained (68.5%) of the variance in the variable Subsequent, there were no significant differences between the averages of respondents’ responses about educational public policies attributed to (gender), while there were differences due to academic qualifications and for Ph.D. holders, as well as differences according to scientific rank and for an assistant professor, and differences according to the university and for Al-ISRAA University in Gaza. - The findings showed that there were no significant differences about digital transformation due to (gender and scientific rank), while it was found that there were differences according to the educational qualification and for (Ph.D. holders), and there were differences by the university and for Al- ISRAA University in Gaza. Among the most important recommendations of the study: - working to raise the level of readiness for comprehensive digital transformation as it is a lever and a basic requirement to keep pace with the era of knowledge, technology, and globalization by paying attention to the application of educational policies in all its fields, as it is an essential and influential factor in improving the level of digital transformation. - Develop employees’ skills, identify future and current needs for them, and the knowledge gap about the use of information systems, dealing with communication technology, and developing methods of explanation and teaching strategies to suit the digital transformation environment.
