Abstract
This study aimed to identify the effect of using the electronic guide portal on building career options for high school graduates, and the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, relying on the questionnaire as a tool to collect data, so the researcher distributed (246) questionnaires and after completing the data collection process and retrieving the questionnaires that were done Distributed (219) valid questionnaires were retrieved.
The study concluded with a number of results, the most important of which are: the availability of the dimensions of the academic guidance system that is the subject of study among members of the study sample to a large degree, with a relative weight (71.40%), where it ranked first in the quality of information dimension with a relative weight (78.35%), while it came second Ease of access, with a relative weight (73.70%), while it ranked third after the Quality of Service, with a relative weight (70.40%), while it ranked fourth in the appropriate dimension, with a relative weight (68.00%), while it came in fifth place after System quality, with relative weight (67.14%). And the presence of an average degree of approval by the study sample individuals for the field of career options, with a relative weight (62.80%).
The study recommended: Providing training courses for high school graduates to develop career preference skills and decision-making among students in line with their abilities and preferences. Providing high school students with information and experiences related to academic specializations in accredited universities and colleges. It also recommended attention by the Ministry of Education to provide an appropriate and appropriate infrastructure for the system of academic guidance, and to increase the clarity of instructions in the Academic Advising portal so that it can be dealt with more easily by its users
