dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to identify the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on the behavior of customers of banks that operating in the West Bank, the study used the descriptive analytical approach (quantitative and qualitative) in line with the objectives of this study. The study population consisted of all customers of banks operating in the West Bank, and the study tool was a questionnaire that included 51 questions distributed in six main areas, and a random sample of (200) customers was taken. The study reached several results, the most important of which were: 1- The results showed that there is a moderate impact of the Corona crisis on the behavior of customers in banks operating in the West Bank. 2- The results of the study showed that there is a high impact of the Corona crisis on the banking system in the West Bank from the point of view of customers. 3- The results indicated that there is a high negative impact from the point of view of customers of the Corona crisis on the level of services provided by banks operating in the West Bank. 4- The study showed that returned checks are one of the most important problems facing the banking sector from the customers' point of view. In light of the results, the study reached a set of recommendations: 1. The study recommends the Monetary Authority to avoid comprehensive general procedures in similar crises, and instead to have procedures specific to a particular sector or segment by more efficient, accurate and correct means. 2. The Palestinian banking institutions must increase spending to develop electronic banking payment tools and increase the means of safety and confidence in line with the development taking place in the global banking sector, and to create a broader field for payment internally and externally, and this requires the availability of a sophisticated infrastructure that includes various communication networks, devices and modern technologies. 3. The study encourages banking sector institutions to respond positively with regard to the rapid and sudden changes caused by crises similar to the Corona crisis
