| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed at identifying the reality of administrative integrity in Directorates of Education in Hebron Governorate from school principals' point of view. The study population consisted of (522) principals ( academic year 2019_2020). The study used a stratified random sample consisted of (221) principals. The researcher used a questionnaire as the study tool, which consisted of (35) items assessing 3 domains: transparency, accountability, equality of opportunities. The questionnaire had been verified in terms of validity and reliability using appropriate statistical methods. The study questions have been investigated and the theories have been tested using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The study results revealed that participants' assessment of the reality of administrative integrity in Directorates of Education in Hebron Governorate was of a high level for the total score, with mean (3.72), and standard deviation (0.84). All questionnaire constructs were also of a high level: transparency, accountability, and equality of opportunities, in sequence as per their mean scores. The results also showed that no statistically significant differences exist at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the participant's assessment of the reality of administrative integrity in Directorates of Education in Hebron Governorate due to ( gender, academic qualifications, years of experiences), while it showed a statistically significant differences due to directorate variable. In light of the study results, the researcher summed up with a set of relevant recommendations, in which she advised the Ministry of Education to enhance the concept of integrity among the workers in the ministry, and to issue codes of conduct and professional ethics for all public servants working at the ministry. | en |
