This study aimed to investigate the effect of a program based on the use of learning patterns" in acquiring basic mathematical skills and developing the thinking skills of learning difficulties 4th graders to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the experimental method and semi-experimental design (Pre-test and post-test) for one group on a target sample of 43 students from the study population, which consists of students with learning difficulties in the 4th grade registered in the Directorate of South Hebron for the academic year 2018/2019. The sample of female students was selected from 4 sections with a total of 22 female students, and from 5 sections with a total of 21 male students. The sample was studied in a program based on learning patterns that were prepared by the researcher, the tools of the study were prepared. The first tool was a basic sports skills test, consisting of 26 sections. The second tool is the test of the development of the skills of imaginative thinking, consisting of 22 paragraphs, and verified their honesty and stability in the appropriate ways, the tools were applied to both male and female study groups in both schools before and after treatment. The results were analyzed using arithmetic mean, standard deviations, paired samples analysis, (ANCOVA), and T test of paired samples. This study came with a set of results and was represented as follows: There were statistically significant differences in the test of the acquisition of basic mathematical skills and in the test of the development of the skills of imaginative thinking among students with learning difficulties in the fourth grade between the pre-test and the post-test. The results of the study were as follows: the degree of acquisition of basic mathematical skills and the development of imadinative thinking skills in males and females is high and in favour of the proposed program. The degree of acquisition of basic mathematical skills and the development of imaginative thinking skills according to gender variable are high and for females. ه Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended the use of learning patterns in the teaching of mathematics, providing the necessary sources for this and the need to include them in the teacher's guide and the prescribed books, and conducting further studies and research dealing with these patterns in other variables and study studies.
