Abstract
The study aimed to identify the methods of dealing with teachers of the lower elementary
stage in Bethlehem governorate. In order to achieve the study objectives, the researcher
used the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (208) teachers and teachers
of the basic elementary stage in the governorate Bethlehem was chosen in a systematic
random sampling method according to the school. The scale of the methods of dealing with
the basic stage teachers was used with behavioral problems among students with learning
disabilities.
The results indicated that "educational methods" is one of the most common methods used
by the teachers of the basic stage in Bethlehem governorate in Palestine with an average of
(4.09) and a relative weight of (81.8%). (3.91), with a relative weight of (78.2%) with a
high degree of approval. The third place was psychological methods with an average of
3.41 and a relative weight of 68.02% with high approval. Arithmetic of 1.98 and a low
relative weight of 39.6%. Food-number (183) on the use of punitive methods in dealing
with behavioral problems for students with learning difficulties.
The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the psychological
methods according to the gender variable and the male teachers. There were no differences
in the other methods (social and environmental methods, educational methods, penal
methods), and there were no differences between the methods of dealing with problems
(Α0.05) in the mean of psychological methods to deal with the behavioral problems of
students according to the variable of place of residence, for the benefit of the teachers who
live in the camps, and there are no differences on the In other methods (social and
environmental methods classroom - educational methods - punitive methods).
There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α0.05) in the mean of
punitive methods in dealing with behavioral problems of students according to the variable
years of experience and for teachers with less than five years of experience. There are no
differences in psychological methods - Educational methods).
