This study aims to reveal the role of alternative tourism employees in developing the tourism sector, reviving the economy, and communicating the Palestinian cause globally. In order ti achieve this objective, the researcher used the descriptive method. He also distributed a questionnaire electronically for collecting data. After verifying its validity and reliability. The questionnaire was distributed on a sample consisted of (50) male and female workers in the tourism sector, who were selected in the available manner from different places in the West Bank. After processing the data statistically, the study indicates that there is a significant role for tourist guides working in the field of Alternative tourism in the development of the tourism sector, reviving the economy, and in the global spreading of the Palestinian cause. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) for the role of tourist guides in the field of alternative tourism in developing the tourism sector, reviving the economy and spreading the Palestinian cause globally that are based on the variables of gender and the number of languages mastered by employees. Also, there are no differences due to the variables of age and educational qualification. However, a difference is found in the role of workers in the field of alternative tourism in reviving the economy, and the results show that there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) in the role of workers in the field of alternative tourism in developing the tourism sector, reviving the economy, and spreading the Palestinian cause globally due to the variousness in years of experience. According to the researcher’s findings, he recommends the necessity of paying attention to the role of alternative tourism in Palestine by the Ministry of Tourism. He also indicates the importance of promoting the concept of alternative tourism in the curricula for the tourism major students, in addition to enrolling the regular tour guides in training courses and workshops that would increase their experience in the field of alternative tourism.
