| dc.description.abstract | The study aimed to recognize the level of mental photo for Palestinian universities and to reveal the most prominent affecting factors in constructing the Palestinian universities’ mental photo in Southern provinces. Also to recognize the relationship between the Palestinian universities’ mental photo and its mental photo inside the students, and tests the effect of some demographic variables (gender, the university, the place of living, The Academic level, and the college) on responses of the sample around the Palestinian universities’ mental photo and the influencing factors in. to achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach and the questionnaire as a collecting data tool. The researcher applied the questionnaire on (380) students (Male and Female) which these samples were collected stratified random from Al-Aqsa, Al-Azhar, Palestine, Islamic, and Al-Quds open universities. (372) male and female students answered in a response rate reached to (77.50%). The study found some results noted the most significant that the level of the Palestinian universities’ mental photo for its students was high and the relative weight reached to the total score (74.4%). The affective dimension got ranked first in relative weight (76.2%), and it is followed by the cognitive dimension in relative weight (74.17%), and finally the behavioral dimension in relative weight (74.05%). The relative weight for influencing factors in building the Palestinian universities’ mental photo in Southern provinces was high (75.7%). The most important factor was university's identity in relative weight (78.57%), then university's culture in relative Weight (76.80%), and it is followed by university's vision and letter (75.08%), and its followed by the academic reputation in (73.49%), at the final the available technology in (72.36%). That showed there is a positive relationship between the Palestinian universities’ mental photo and its mental photo inside the students. And found there is an impact for effecting factors in constructing the Palestinian universities’ mental photo on its mental photo inside the students. The results moreover indicated there are no differences between individuals responses study sample around the level of mental photo for Palestinian universities and the influencing factors due to the university's variables, the place of living, the academic level, and the college. In the light of study results, the researcher recommends Palestinian universities to provide services and academic programs keep up with developments, Also put in its policies mechanisms to improve the mental photo for its students and their positive tendencies towards the university and its facilities. | |
