This study aimed to identify the reality of adopting green information and communications technology in Palestinian services sector companies from the viewpoint of Information Technology managers, and to identify the factors that affect the decision to adopt green information and communication technology, and the study also aimed to identify the difference in the level of adoption of green information and communication technology according to a variable Company's field of work, company size, and The age of the company in the market. The study focused on the technology, organization and environment framework (TOE) as a study model, and used the descriptive analytical approach. The study community consisted of information and communication technology managers and those associated with this field in the services sector companies in Palestine. The researcher conducted a comprehensive survey of 36 targeted companies, namely (14) telecommunications company (fixed, Mobail, and internet), (14) banks, and (8) major insurance companies operating in Palestine, The researcher also used the questionnaire as an approved main measurement tool, as it was analyzed using the SPSS statistical program. The results showed that most of the services sector companies in Palestine, practice information and communications technology in their daily routine, which indicates a positive trend between telecommunications companies, banks and insurance in Palestine to shift towards Green ICT at the company level. The results revealed that there is a disparity of the impact of technology factors, organizational and environmental factors on the adoption of Green ICT within the services sector companies (telecommunications, banks, insurance) in Palestine, where it showed that technology factors and infrastructure readiness have the highest impact, followed by organizational factors and finally external environmental factors. As effective communication level and cooperation between departments and organizational and cultural structures is considered an important organizational factor and has a high impact, then comes the support of Top management, then the level of awareness and the budget of the ICT department came as the least influence among organizational factors. The results showed that customer pressure came as the most influential external environmental factor, followed by competitive pressure and sector pressure, while government encouragement and environmental regulations came as the least external environmental factors affecting the adoption of Green ICT. The results revealed that there is a significant effect of adopting Green ICT attributable to the variable of the company's field of work and its size, but there is no significant effect of Green ICT adoption attributable to the variable of the establishment's age. This study recommended researchers to take advantage of these results and conduct other research through which new factors are examined, new models are used, and new sectors are introduced, to learn more about the reality of Green ICT. The study also recommended the private sector in general in Palestine to integrate green initiatives and Green ICT within the company's general strategy, raise awareness of all company employees, and provide a separate financial budget for the ICT department to invest more in Green ICT. Finally, the study recommended the government sector and environmental regulatory bodies in Palestine, to the necessity of creating an awareness program and procedures guide for the importance of applying and adopting Green ICT, and providing tax incentives for greenest companies and encouraging companies towards adopting Green ICT, providing sufficient funds for the private and public sector for research, development and investment in Green ICT.en
