Abstract
This study aimed to identify the extent of the impact of strategic foresight on
the continuous improvement of the capabilities of the Palestinian industrial
sector in the southern governorates. The researcher used the descriptive
analytical approach, relying on the questionnaire as a tool for data collection.
Their number is (360) employees, where the researcher used a simple random
sample, and selected a sample of (186) individuals, then the researcher
distributed the questionnaires to the study sample, and (180) questionnaires
were retrieved with a recovery rate of (96%).
The study concluded with a number of results, the most important of which are:
the dimensions of strategic advantage in the industrial sector companies were
available in a large degree, with a relative weight (75.4%), and the availability
of continuous improvement in the industrial sector companies in a significant
degree, with a relative weight (78.6%), and the existence of an impact of
strategic forensic in continuous improvement For the capabilities of the
Palestinian industrial sector, and the study also concluded that there is a
statistically significant impact on strategic advantage (integration capabilities,
environmental monitoring, strategic planning, scenario building) in the
continuous improvement of the capabilities of the Palestinian industrial sector.
The study recommended: The need for the management of industrial
companies to take advantage of the experiences of competitors around them,
whether in their internal or external environment. The study also
recommended the need to share all information at the various organizational
levels in the industrial sector companies, in a way that contributes to the
proper performance of tasks. And the need to strengthen all relations at all
levels, whether formal or informal, between employees in companies and at
all levels. The study also recommended the need to develop innovative
measures to measure the strategic performance of Palestinian industrial sector
companies.
