Abstract
The study aimed to find out the availability of the requirements of smart universities at Al-Quds University. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach that targeted a group of the university staff from all the different supervisory and managerial levels, whom are counted as 163 employees according to the human resourses statistics for the year 2021. The researcher designed a questionnaire that included (76) items distributed into six areas: (smart university buildings, smart human resources) University smart administration, smart business environment, smart knowledge network, smart educational environment ("e-learning"), and it has a degree of honesty and reliability of the overall degree of the availability of the requirements of smart universities at Al-Quds University (0.94).
The study found that the overall score for the availability of the requirements of smart universities at Al-Quds University was a medium degree, the general average for the field of smart university buildings was also medium. The general average for the field of smart human resources was moderate, as well as the general average for the field of smart management for the university and so was the general average scores in the field of the smart business and the field of the smart knowledge network. Finally, the general average for the field of the smart educational environment reached “e-learning” came with a large degree of appreciation.
It was also shown that there were no significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.05a≤) in the average responses of the respondents about the availability of the requirements of smart universities at Al-Quds University due to the job title variable in all fields of study. The field of smart university buildings, smart human resources and electronic education, and the differences were in favor of males, as well as there were differences in favor of the scientific qualification variable within the field of smart management of the university, and the differences were in favor of those with a bachelor’s degree or less and those with a master’s scientific qualification in favor of those with a bachelor’s degree

There were also differences according to the variable of the nature of work according to the field of smart human resources, as the differences were in favor of academics, also there were differences according to the variable years of experience according to the field of the smart business environment, where the results indicated that these The differences were between the responses of the sample individuals whose years of experience were less than 5 years, and those whose years of experience were (5- less than 10 years), as well as with the respondents whose years of experience were of (10 years). For those who are less than 15 years), and whose years of experience are more than 15 years, and for the benefit of the sample members whose years of experience are less than 5 years
The study came out with a set of recommendations, most notably the work to provide modern communication devices of a wide range based on smart technologies in all university facilities, and permanent work to support the creativity of the teaching staff, and increase levels of transparency in the process of information exchange and sharing with stakeholders, And the interest in providing a smart work environment in order to contribute to the comfort of university employees, providing in-campus services based on the techniques of smart systems, enhancing the use of social networks within university systems in order to communicate, learning and exchange information, and increasing the interest in designing digital curricula and courses in a way that supports and develops creativity The number of teachers and students, and the steady increase in interest in providing centers for the production of electronic courses in support of the transformation of universities towards smart universities.
