Abstract
This study was aimed at detecting level Addiction to social networking sites " Facebook as a model" and its relationship to some variables among students of the higher basic stage in the villages west of Ramallah, and this study used the measure (Bergen) addiction on Facebook and in order to achieve the objectives of the study the researcher was used the descriptive-analytical method, and the sample of the study consisted of (477) students of the higher basic stage students, in villages west of Ramallah. In order to answer the questions electronically, one of the most important findings of the study is the lack of statistically significant differences at the level of indication (α≤0.05) in the level of Facebook addiction attributable to students of the higher basic stage in the villages west of Ramallah, which are attributed For the change in the social status of parents, as well as the lack of statistically significant differences at the level of indication (α≤0.05) in the level of Facebook addiction among students of the higher basic stage in the villages west of Ramallah due to the change in family income, the results show that there is a presence Statistically significant differences in the level of Facebook addiction among students of the higher basic stage in villages west of Ramallah due to the change in the number of hours used Facebook, As well as for all areas (prominence, endurance, mood adjustment, relapse, withdrawal, conflict), in favor of (more than 4) hours and (2-4) hours.
