Scientific goals of the collaboration
The long-term goal of this scientific collaboration is the education and training of the next generation of scientists by disseminating knowledge about modern pharmacology and biomedical research to students at the undergraduate, advanced, and postgraduate level:
- Development of highly efficient cancer therapy with reduced side effects
- Design and synthesis of new metal complexes with improved membrane penetration and fluorescence properties
- Delivery study of the new compound using fusogenic liposomes as carriers into 2D and 3D cancer cell cultures
- Exploration of the impact of the lipophilic character of Pt(IV)-based complexes on the fusogenicity of carrier liposome
