The study sample consisted of 15 journalists, from several local and international media organizations. The study followed the procedural approach and relied on the theories of political opportunity and self-presentation as a theoretical framework. The study used the tools of the in-depth interview and content analysis, and the interview consisted of (16) questions, while the content analysis relied on Goffman’s "dramatic approach", to analyze the user profile of the journalists' Facebook pages. The study concluded by building a model for the personal brand of the Palestinian journalist, consisting of two dimensions: (the group of reinforcement forces), which are the factors that would contribute to strengthening and building the personal brand of the journalist, and (the group of inhibition forces), which are the factors that hinder the formation and strengthening of the personal brand of the journalist, which calls for its disposal and reduction of its effects. The results also showed that the existence of the occupation and the unstable political conditions in the Palestinian environment were considered as political opportunities that helped in the emergence of Palestinian journalists and thus enhance their personal scores, and here this theory was applied for the first time to individuals, after it was applied to parties and social movements in various researches. The researcher recommended the necessity of applying this model to journalists, in order to know the extent of its validity and sincerity, and to have a law that protects journalists if they are subject to dismissal and dismissal from their services and the abolition of the clause in the employment contract that restricts journalists and prevents them from expressing their own opinions.
