Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the effect of strategic planning on administrative development in the Palestinian government sector, by applying it on the General Directorate of the Palestinian Police in Gaza governorates. It adopted the descriptive-analytic planning. The study sample consisted of (229) affiliates of the Directorate of the Palestinian police, total number is (563), where the researcher recollected (199) questionnaires with a rate of (86.9%). The researcher designed a questionnaire tool to collect data and information from sample staff using statistical data band (SPSS). The most important results included: Investment program, investment program, questionnaire program for collecting data, information, data and information for research, a graphic statement, a statement of information, data, data, and study results: There is a high level of a strategic vision owned by the General Directorate of the Palestinian Police in the southern governorates with a relative weight of (71.8%), and there is a high level of the strategic aim owned by the General Directorate of the Palestinian Police in the southern governorates with a relative weight of (74.8%), also, there is a statistically significant correlation at (0.05≥α) between the strategic planning and administrative development of the employees in the supervisory missions of the General Directorate of Police in the southern governorates, finally, there is a statistically significant effect at (0.05≥α) of the strategic vision on the administrative development of the employees in the supervisory missions of the General Police in the southern governorates. The study recommended developing specific and systematic mechanisms that foster the participation of the internal and external community of the General Directorate of the Palestinian Police in the strategic planning process, along with using modern models in strategic planning, such as planning using models of excellence and working on modeling the planning process in all its stages. Moreover, attention should also be paid to relevant researches, studies and future strategies to achieve the most appropriate process in line with the internal and external conditions faced by the General Directorate of the Palestinian Police in the southern governorates.
