The study aimed to identify anticipatory anxiety (a state where a person experiences increased levels of anxiety by thinking about an event or situation in the future) and its relation to psychologicl resilience. The study utilized the Descriptive Co relational Approach, and it was conducted on a random and cluster sample including (530) male and female of secondary school students in hot zones in Hebron District 2018-2019. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between anticipatory anxiety and mental resilience levels. In other words, the higher the anticipatory anxiety level is, the lower the mental resilience level will be, and vice versa. The study also concluded that the levels of anticipatory anxiety and mental resilience of secondary school students in hot zones in Hebron District were moderate. Also, the study indicated that respondents included in the study had statistically significant variances in their responses to anticipatory anxiety. Such variances are mainly attributed to the variables of sex in favor of males. However, the study detected no statistically significant variances in their responses to anticipatory anxiety due to the variables of (school grade, stream and place of residence). The study also spotted statistically significant variances in the respondents’ metal resilience mainly emerging from the variable of sex to the aspect of commitment in favor of females, but there were no statistically significant variances in metal resilience of due to the variables of school grade, stream and place of residence among the study’s respondents. In light of the study results, the researcher offered some recommendations including decreasing the level of anticipatory anxiety among secondary school students in hot zones in Hebron District, enhancing psychosocial sense of security by reassuring them that their communities and environments are stable and giving more attention to psychological and social support programs to support the steadfastness of students and their families in hot zone areas.
