dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to identify the reality of the general policies of the communications and information technology sector and its impact on developing Orgnizational pergormanece, by applying to licensed companies of telecommunications and internet companies in Gaza Strip, and in order to achieve the goals of the study I used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study community is made up of all employees with positions The administrative staff in those companies, whose number is (156) employees, The questionnaire was used as a main tool for data collection, as it was distributed using the comprehensive survey method. The retrieved and valid questionnaires for statistical analysis reached (138) questionnaires, and the corresponding tool was used to collect data from the Ministry's Policy Committee. The study reached a set of results, the most important of them are: The level of applying public policies for the communications and information technology sector came to a large extent where the relative weight reached (74.8%), and the level of institutional performance came at a moderate degree where the relative weight reached (65.4%), The results also showed a statistically significant relationship between the general policies of the telecommunications and information technology sector in its four dimensions and institutional performance. Likewise, there is a statistically significant effect of the general policies of the communications and information technology sector in all its dimensions on institutional performance, and also indicated that there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents about the general policies of the communications and information technology sector and institutional performance due to the following variables (gender, age group, educational qualification , Years of service in the field of communications and information technology, job title) while there are differences attributable to the variable nature of the company's activity in favor of telecommunications companies. Based on the results, the study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: Work to encourage consumer protection associations and institutions to monitor telecommunications and information technology markets, Work to encourage consumer protection associations and institutions to monitor the telecommunications and information technology markets, and submit periodic reports to the relevant authorities, and the need for the government to provide a bunch of financial facilities to new investors, And overcoming all obstacles to investors in this vital and important sector, as well as the need to take advantage of the positive directions that managers of telecommunications companies and the Internet have towards the process of developing institutional performance, in addition to the need to conduct more research and studies on this subject in order to verify what is the relationship between public policies And institutional performance.en
