This study aimed to identify the correlation between the five major factors of personality and the meaning of life among cancer patients attending health clinics in Palestine.The correlational descriptive approach was used.And The sample of the study consisted of (200) male and female from cancer patients attending health clinics in Palestine, who numbered (3.479) were chosen in a available and accessible way. The researcher used the measure of the five major factors of the personality, which was prepared by (Costa & Mc Creae, 1992), and the measure of the meaning of life, was prepared and developed by the researcher. Data were statistically processed using the SPSS software. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which were: The most important of the five major factors of the personality that are common in cancer patients came in the factor of awakening the conscience, where it was in the first rank with a high degree, while in the last place the neurotic factor came in a Moderate degree. The level of meaning of life in cancer patients attending health clinics was high. A statistically significant correlation was found between the five major factors and the meaning of life in cancer patients attending health clinics , where it was found that there is an inverse relationship with the neurotic factor, and a direct relationship with the rest of the factors (extroversion factor, openness factor, acceptability factor, conscience awakening factor).In light of the results of the study, the researcher suggested a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:Expanding the study of the five major factors of personality among various samples from different groups of Palestinian society.And Taking into consideration the various factors that contribute to improving the meaning of life and working towards achieving them.
