Abstract
The study aimed to identify anxiety as one of the psychological diseases in the light of the
Noble Qur’an and modern psychology. For this purpose, the researcher used the qualitative
descriptive analytical approach, relying on the interpretation of Qur’anic verses, analyzing
the interpretation and showing the modern psychology’s view of anxiety and its types.
The study found that anxiety is related to modern concepts of psychological disorders that
afflict a person as a result of fear, tension, or excessive thinking about some of the issues
that he faces in his life, and most of these matters are usually unknown, and the study
showed that the verses of doubt and suspicion in the Noble Qur’an, according to the
commentators, mean With anxiety in its modern sense, as it was found through the study
that the Qur’an stories show the level and types of anxiety of the prophets according to the
different situations they lived in. There is psychological anxiety, and there is social
anxiety, and there is an objective concern with regard to da'wah. The concern of groups of
people, such as the hypocrites and the infidels, with regard to suspicion and suspicion in
receiving the divine call and their opposition to the prophets.
The study recommends the inclusion of psychological studies, which come from Islamic
heritage, in university curricula, inviting researchers to individuals of such subjects, with
in-depth studies, working on the intermarriage between psychological studies in the Qur’an
and Sunnah and modern psychology.
