dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to determine the requirements for the application of the European Model of Quality and Excellence (EFQM) standards in MOH hospitals in Gaza and its impact on the organizational reputation of MOH hospitals in Gaza. In order to answer the study's questions and achieve the objectives, the researcher used the descriptive approach to analyze the situation and to clarify the relationships between the independent variable (the nine European Excellence Model Standards) and the dependent variable (organizational reputation), The study population was represented by the (6350) employees of the Palestinian Ministry of Health hospitals in Gaza, The study sample was selected as a stratified random sample (362). The researcher used the questionnaire tool to collect information. After analyzing the questionnaire using the statistical analysis program SPSS The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: There is a correlation between the application of the European Excellence Model criteria (possibilities - results) and the organizational reputation of hospitals of Ministry of Health - Gaza based on the respondents' opinion. There is a positive impact between some criteria of the European Excellence Model of Quality (Leadership - Policy and Strategy - Customer Results - Community Results - Institutional Performance Results) and the organizational reputation of hospitals, and the absence of impact between (Human Resources - Operations - People Results) and the organizational reputation of the hospital based on the respondents' opinion. There are statistically significant differences at level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the respondents' average responses on applying the European Excellence criteria in the European model due to personal factors. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the respondents' average responses on the role of institutional excellence in organizational reputation due to personal factors. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: • Advancing the skills and leadership on participatory decision-making and strategy formulation within the framework of the requirements of the European model. • Establishing a standing committee representing different categories of internal and external stakeholders, which will contribute to the formulation of the strategy. • Maintaining the human resources and working to provide a quality of life that gives him job security and psychological and practical satisfaction, as well as adhering to the application of the principles of corporate governance in the management of human resources activities. • Rationalize the consumption of resources and invest in the direction of working to sustain them as a source or stock. • Consider priorities for work and services provided and achieve what stakeholders need. • Supporting the community of workers, working to improve their career and raise their abilities and professional skills, develop a method of rewards, punishment and reward, and interaction with community issues.en
