| dc.description.abstract | This study summarized for the prince Shakib Arslan’s divan which addressed a few of "the stylistic phenomenon" in it such as the phenomenon of intertextually and the phenomena of the indicative and synthetic fields and also how the divan’s poems are full of these phenomena, particularly since they emerged quite clearly in modern poetry and seeing as the poet Shakib Arslan is a mixture of old poetry- through maintaining and reviving the old poetry’s column- and the necessity of connecting it with modern poetry and supporting it, he heavily employed intertextuality and all its sorts especially the religious and literary sorts, and by doing so Arslan strengthened the Qur’an’s role in activating Arabic, also the Hadith strengthen old poetry’s role through intertexualizing with it like in the texts of unique poets like Emr’Al Qais Zuhair Binabi Salma, Al – Mutanbi and others. Regarding the indicative fields, the poet employed death, woman, place, color, and religion in many ways, through many implications, some of them are alike and some are different. His work was based on the principles of briefing and totalitarianism in establishing the concepts of death, woman, place, color, and religion. For death is the beginning of a life and the end of another, and sometimes it preaches and in other times it disturbs. And the woman represents life in its fullest sense, she is a mother, a sister, and a daughter, and also sometimes she is a refuge for others despite her weakness, place is the area of temporary and perhaps permanent comfort, sometimes that of torture, and other times of tranquility and maybe the place is one of unkind memories or of beautiful ones. As for religion it is this huge tangle whose solution solves all problems, for it is the human’s path towards happiness in this life and the afterlife if, however it’s clear and answers all questions because it can also be a source of misery and unhappiness if it’s unable to answer all these questions . And as for the synthetic fields, this study brought up 3 synthetic issues which are: (emphasis, deletion, introducing, and delay). The poet frequently used them in his poems in the purpose of confirming the personalities or places or concepts the reader may pause at. It also contributes in the issue of deletion by deleting what was mentioned before or what is necessarily known. The matter of introducing and delay was brought up to highlight the importance of the introduced more than the delayed wither it was praised,mourned or an important concept. | en |
