The research aims to discuss the forms of the incomplete return (of refugees) to the occupied land in some Palestinian novels, and then in Ahmad Rafiq Awad’s novels. Awad used those forms of return in order to clarify the current Palestinian situation. The researcher started by discussing the forms of the incomplete return (of the Palestinian refugees) in some Palestinian novels, which represent the stages preceding and following the Oslo Accords. Those forms had several things in common, including: negative feelings and behaviours, such as loneliness, pain, helplessness and opportunism, and the excessive renaming of Palestinian cities (in the occupied part of Palestine) into non-Arabic names. The similarity between those forms before and after Oslo Accord reflects the persisting reality of the Zionist entity which works on turning Palestinian sites into Jewish ones. The forms of incomplete return (of refugees) before the Oslo Accords differed from those after the Accords in several areas. Those areas include the image of forced relocation (of Palestinians), which appeared in the pre-Oslo stage, and especially right after the Nakba in 1948. This image was not represented in the same manner after the Oslo Accords. After the Oslo Accords, the western lifestyle spread allover the forcefully taken home (of the Palestinians), which implies the complete control of the occupier over the land. This reality was confirmed after examining several images of the Palestinian organizations which did not have any kind of sovereignty. Afterwards, the researcher moved on towards discussing the forms of incomplete return in the novels of Ahmad Tawfiq Awad, which represented the stages before and after the Oslo Accords. Both stages shred several aspects, including the ongoing establishment of Israeli settlements, which has always accompanies that state, but increased significantly after the Oslo Accords. The forms of incomplete return (of refugees) after the Oslo Accords differed from those before the Accords in several areas. Those areas include the change of values in a large portion of the Palestinian population, to whom national concerns have become completely irrelevant, and to whom personal gain and accumulating money have become their concerns. Consequently, we conclude that Palestinian novels agree on that the return to the homeland under occupation should not be; such return causes loss to the returner in all domains; real return occurs after the complete liberation of theen
