The present study examines the Al-Qasemi Al-Khulwati comprehensive sufi Order in Palestine in the era between 1300 and 1435 AH, namely, its development and social and educational role. I have chosen this subject for two main reasons. Firstly, no independent academic study exists on the Al-Qasemi Al-Khulwati Comprehensive sufi sect and the relation between the sufi sect in Palestine and the Palestinian Islamic and national movements and parties as well as the relation of the Sufi Orders with the governing regimes in Palestine and the region. Second, many Palestinians are not informed about Sufism and its existence in Palestine as well as its role in the Palestinian society. In fact, some of those who are informed about Sufism have distorted information, and based I heir judqment on non-scientific basis. The significance of this study lies in the fact that it aims to introducethe Al- Qasemi Al-Khulwati Comprehensive Sufi Order and its social and educational role in the Palestinian society. The study aims to investigate the significant social and educational role of the Al-Qasemi Al-Khulwati Comprehensive sect in Palestine and its relation with the Palestinian political and civil parties and movements in addition to its relation with the Palestinian National Authority. The study followed an integrative method thus benefited from the historical, induction and statistical methods. It shows that the Al-Qasemi Al-Khulwati Comprehensive sect is based on the Holy Quran and Sunnah. It has no deviations from the Holy Quran and Sunnah, which would have made it incorrect and put it in clash with Islamic parties and movements. Nonetheless, this Order goes far away in consolidating the relationship between the student and his Sufi Sheikh in which the student shows unequivocal submission to his Sheikh as long as it does not contradict the Holy Quran and Sunnah. This sect is the most changeable order regarding its name since it was found at the end of the third century of Hijrah and until today. In addition, it is usually named after its Sheikhs. Finally, the study makes two main recommendations. Firstly, it calls upon researchers to conduct academic studies on other Sufi sect in Palestine and to compare between them as well as to compare between these sect and the non-Sufi Islamic movements. Secondly, it calls upon the Sheikhs of the Sufi Orders to establish a coordinating Sufi assembly.en
