| dc.description.abstract | Abstract Man is the greatest creature, so he is the best one by which Allah is known. A wise saying asserts that “He who knows himself, indeed knows Allah.” it will be regarded even better when the source of such knowledge and its guidance is the Divine Book of Allah, the Almighty, the Holy Quran. This study aimed at investigating the psychological development, its components, its properties, mechanism of the self-management and determining the aspects of character for individual and society in the light of the Book of Allah (the Glorified). The study depends on the Book of Allah -as the most reliable source of knowledge, in order to unveil the unknown in the human psychology, especially regarding the deviation in behavior and the differences between people. The research uses the descriptive approach, content analysis as well as the exegeses and the findings of scholars. Despite the fact that people share the same components of the self, as they are created by Allah (SWT) as if they are all one same self, they differ from each other as they differ in their finger prints or in their countenance. This research tries to disclose the facts which offer explanation and solutions for behavior deviation and for psychiatric diseases. Furthermore, it aims at establishing a promising Quranic generation. In order to achieve these goals, the concept of psychological development of the self in the light of Holy Quran Signs is explained, and the physiological dimension of the self development and its reflection on the individual’s attitude and behavior is discussed. Afterwards, the dimensions of the psycho-social development and the role of the environment and social life in character shaping is investigated. Finally, the effects of psychological development, according to Allah’s decrees, are analyzed. The results of the study concluded that self development is man’s own task, which is influenced by his culture and environment, chooses either to be a believer or an unbeliever Moreover, there are some significant differences between the psychological development and education, which is manifested in individual differences between people in similar circumstances. The study also reveals that each self has its own composure which is distinguished and introduced by other selves as if each individual represents a whole universe and shares other worlds in drawing up the (stereotype) of the self development. This paradigm acts as a framework under which all individuals meet on common grounds for viewing life according to special agreed upon criteria. Moreover, some powers of self govern and others are governed. The heart is the part which occupies the peak of responsibility in the self and owns the choices between the results of thought and mind or passions. Besides, there are some factors affecting the psychological structure positively or negatively such as the divine creeds that depend on the individual’s choices and acquisitions. In addition there are the biological factors of self chemistry that has its own influence on the psychological development. All the above help in explaining the behavior of people and in predicting its future results . | en |
