The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of using a suggested program based on learning styles on improving the achievement of 11th grade scientific students in chemistry and their information processing methods. The researcher used a Learning styles questionnaire (kinesthetic, visual, auditory) to determine the ratios learning styles of two groups, Information processing method scale, and achievement tests. The student population consisted of all female student of 11th grade in the governorate schools in the academic year (2014- 2015) where the total number (485) student, while the study sample consist of two sessions (32 students each) from Bethlehem girls secondary school. After the implementation of the study, the data was collected and analyzed through using T-test and Eta square to measure the effect size of the impact of the proposed program. The study found that the preferred learning styles among the experimental group was the auditory and visual ( 33.75 % ), then the kinesthetic ( 32.5 % ), while the preferred learning styles among the control group was kiesthetic (35.0 %) , visual (33.4 %) , auditory (31.6 %). Also, there was a significant differences between the student achievement results due to the using of the new program and the same for their information processing methods results. Among the recommendations that resulted from the study advised teachers to use a variety of activities and teaching aids in the abstract scientific subjects and to link scientific concepts with realistic examples to make it easier for understanding, and to organize textbooks topics in order to develop students' abilities to process information in a better way.
