This study tackles the American role towards the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, spotting thereby light onto the American foreign Policy during the reign of President Bill Clinton; i.e. between 1993 and 2001. However, this subject is truly considered one of the most crucial issues dealt with by the US Foreign Policy towards what may have international interventions. Also, the study will identify the path of U.S. role in the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations on the one hand, and on the other hand the financial and material support for the parties to the dispute or to one party, if any. Hence, the study will explain the alien issue which, at first glance, considers the Clinton term as one of the most important periods of reconciliation, which converged with the Palestinians in many of the important issues but with no support extended to the Palestinian Authority directly with funds; on contrary to the term of President George W. Bush, which is the period that is considered the period of stalemate and disagreement in some important issues, but there has been certain material and financial support directly addressed to the treasury of the Palestinian Authority. The methodology of the study is an analytical and historical one, because of the need for both. Since the term of President Bill Clinton has in fact been one of the most important periods in the history of Israeli-Palestinian conflict, there has been a lot of the American concern, especially that the period has witnessed the signing of the Convention on the Oslo Declaration of Principles under the auspices of President Bill Clinton, with all that has followed of numerous conferences and rounds of negotiations where the United States has the most prominent role in it, whereas the study has discussed the stages of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process from the perspective of the American attendance with a brief history of U.S. policy toward the Palestinians and the Israelis in order to start from a broad base and a common understanding of the historical relatedness; it also has given notion to the meaning of the US Foreign Policy from several aspects, surveillance of the very primitive steps of the President Bill Clinton since the inception of his reign, his role and his further steps towards supporting the negotiations. And then the study has shed light on the US material support to the Palestinians and the Israelis in that period and whether the U.S. financial support to the Palestinians has been in harmony with the prevailing policies in that period and reason beyond the same. The study has also focused on the political dimensions of the Camp David 2000 Conference and the Report regarding its importance to the U.S. towards the conflict parties, whereas there has been a major U.S. effort at the highest level. Therefore, the results of the American foreign policy have become apparent towards the two parties of the conflict and that the latter stance or the position of President Bill Clinton which in turn has expressed his failure to reach to a comprehensive agreement between the Palestinians and the Israelis, despite the fact that Clinton has taken the initiative within his vision to resolve the thorny issues; however, the Camp David has been one of the most important conferences which discussed the whole thorny issues between the Palestinians and the Israelis. But, however, the two parties of the conflict have not accepted the perspective of President Bill Clinton nor his proposals and instead they have expressed reservation towards some of the items and refused some others.en
