Abstract
The goal of this study was to acknowledge the impact of knowledge management on security academies performance in Palestine. In addition to this, to learn knowledge management requirements, processes and the relationship between them, as well their impact on corporate performance. The study population consisted of all trainers, security and military colleges in the seven colleges and centers for security training totaling‌)240( individuals. The study sample included at (121) individuals were randomly selected as this sample accounted for )50%( of the total members of the study. To achieve the objectives of the study descriptive and analytical approach was used, the questionnaire included (57) items, divided into three main areas (knowledge management requirements, knowledge management processes, organizational performance ) in order to collect information from the study sample, The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used. Several statistical methods were also used to achieve the objectives of the study such as repetitiveness, percentages, arithmetic mean and standard deviation and test t for one sample Cornbrash’s alpha used to check the veracity of the statistical tool and stability, Pearson correlation coefficient has also been used to examine the strength and direction of the relationship between the variables. After an analysis of the data the study process and hypotheses, the study found a number of results, most notably: 1. The results have shown a significant relationship between knowledge management requirements and performance in college’s security and academies operating in the West Bank, the results indicated they performed extremely well in terms of human staff performance and followed by data and information. 2. The findings indicated that there is also a significant relationship between knowledge management processes and institutional performance, it showed also a positive effect on institutional performance, as well as the more knowledge management processes impact on performance is the process of knowledge application, followed by the distribution of knowledge. 3. The results confirmed that there is a relationship between knowledge management requirements on the one hand, and knowledge management processes on the other hand, which in turn these elements cannot be integrated into the system without the availability of the other elements, this clarifies the ability of organization to provide knowledge management. 4. There are significant differences in the responses of study sample attributed to demographic variables.
