| dc.description.abstract | This is a study and investigation of the manuscript "Murshid Al-Ghana Bisharh Amthilat Albina" prepared by Muslih-Eddin Al-Lari ( died in 979 of Hijra). It is the first work about Al - Lari and his written works as far as the researcher knows. His concem about his topic started in 2007, where he was searching for a subject for his thesis "Murshid Al-Ghana Bisharh Amthilat Albina" it's a book of morphology specialized in names, verbs and roots (origins), which is started by talking about names and there forms ,then he continued talking about ternary & infinitive verbs, then quartet infinitive and affixation verbs too, also he clarified the meanings learned from affixation for each one of them, then he talked about the verbs roots (origins), and all kinds of geminating, also its implied by many other morphological language structures and grammar issues The importance of this study came from two sides, first the manuscript specialized in morphology and also specialized in names, verbs and roots' forms, which is to be considered as an a qualitative addition to our morphological library on the other hand, this study that depended on the mentioned manuscript is the first one that talking about "AlLari' personality & performance. As for methodology employed, the researcher has adopted a complementary approach so as to handle all aspects of this work through study and investigation. References used vary between old and new ones. They include books in morphology, grammar, language structure, philosophy, hadith, interpretation and many others. The study comes in three parts preceded by a preface in which the researcher presented shortly the political, social, educational and cultural situation at that era. Following that study which researcher addressed information about Muslih - Eddin AlLari: his name, nickname, birth, death, seeking for study and knowledge, family, occupation, teachers, students, and writings. Then he talked about the manuscript:its title, belonging to Alari, the reasons the book was written, the time the methodology of the book, its value, shortcomings and the methodology the researcher used for investigation. The third part is the investigation. It includes copies from the original manuscript and the investigated text. The researcher tried here to be as honest and as accurate as possible to produce something similar to what Al - Lari produced. The text was written in a script corresponding to the present script, and vocalized accurately. The researcher then referred the examples from the Quran and the poetry to their origin. He tried to reveal any mystery in the text, made sure of the ideas, and chose some titles for the text for easy reference. He printed the text to show verses, titles and paradigms. The results the researcher arrived at are the following: The tenth century was rich in thought. Grammarians were active, and their activity was manifest in recording a large portion of old heritage and adding to it. The study was able to specify the date of birth of Al-Lari, which was not mentioned in any previous source. In addition its specified, through evidences, the date of death of AlLari, and it put an end to all disputes about it, and disclosed the encyclopedic knowledge of Al-Lari, and it talked about 20 books of him. The "Murshid Al-Ghana" was the first book of Al-Lari which has been scientifically investigated. The study, in fact, is the first comprehensive one which is concerned with Al-Lari's personality and product. This book "Murshid Al - Gana" is in fact an explanation for "Maten Al - Bina fi Al - sarf for Abdallah Al-Dankazi, one of the ninth century scholars, which was not mentioned in the sources. Also the study disclosed the new thing Al-Lari mentioned in his book, such as his use of "Sal wala" from our saying"salla Allahu Alayhi wasallam":(peace be upon him). As well, Al-Lari related the common grammatical example "Daraba Zaidun Amran" to political situation, and so on. As for recommendation, the researcher calls all those who care about heritage and scholars to revive treasures of our manuscripts, so that the scientific base for our studies research will be nearly complete, our judgment will be more accurate and more comprehensive. Finally, the researcher hopes that this dissertation will be some sort of contribution in this regard. | en |
