| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to identify the role of social capital in bringing about economic and social development in Hebron Governorate, Through the study of the focus of social capital (Trust, Cooperation, And Participation), the relationship of each domain with its axis, and the study of social capital relationship in the creation of economic and social development. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach to the study, and the questionnaire was used as the main study tool to collect information, a simple random sample was used, and the study population consists of all individuals who are entitled to vote (age 18 years, from 9/1/2020),over in the governorate, the governorate was also divided into (Rural, Urban, Camps), where (384) questionnaires were distributed and all were recovered, at a rate of (100%.) The most important results were the presence of an increasing statistically significant relationship between social capital and economic and social development in the province, It was found that social capital explains (34.4%) of the change in the dependent variable (Economic and social development in Hebron governorate), and that the other factors together affect( 65.6%) of economic and social development, this indicates the importance of social capital in bringing about economic and social development in the governorate. The study reached several conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which were: The study concluded that there is a relationship between: Social capital and economic and social development in the governorate is related to a continuous relationship, and there is a direct relationship between saving, economic and social development The study reached recommendations, the most important of which was the need to form a control committee over natural resources in order to exploit these resources equitably, And the need to work to increase confidence between the governorate and the people in order to move the wheel of development, and the study recommends the need to pay attention to social capital for its basic and pivotal role in the production process in the Hebron Governorate | |
